Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Part-Time Social Media Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in gaming and technology and possess excellent communication and content-creation skills. As our Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing engaging social media content, managing our online presence across various platforms, and implementing strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Create and curate compelling content for our social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and others.
• Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote our products/services, events, and announcements.
• Including creating campaigns, audiences, content
• Monitor and engage with our audience, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, gaming news, and emerging technologies to inform content strategy and stay relevant.
• Collaborate with executives to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives and campaigns.
• Analyze social media metrics and insights to track performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and report on key metrics regularly.
• Actively participate by appearing in videos and engaging with the audience on social media platforms.
• Manage and maintain our Discord Server

Requirements:

• Passion for gaming and technology, with a deep understanding of the gaming industry and tech trends.
• Proven experience managing social media accounts for businesses, brands or personal accounts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to different platforms and audiences.
• Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms, especially Meta Ads Manager.
• Basic video editing skills and the ability to create content from start to finish, including video and image content.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas for social media content and campaigns.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field preferred. We would also accept candidates with an engineering or technical background if they feel that they meet the role requirements.
• Recent graduate preferred

Location

This position is based in our office in Briarhill in Galway. You will need to be in the office to create content with our controller. Remote work could be available, so please submit if you are unable to work in person.

Hours

This is a part-time position, requiring around 20 hours per week. Flexible scheduling is available.
